Highlights of what I am currently running it. I’ll update this as things change.

Sneakers

Ghost Brooks 14*  I’ve been wearing Ghosts since model 6.

It's getting time to get a pair specifically for trails, I've been saying this for years, I still haven't.

Safety

Reflective Vest* – I got the pink one! While I love the look of light up vests, I’ve heard in comments, the reflective strips is better for visibility to cars. I will say as a slow runner following someone in a light up vest is easier.

Headlamp – I know there are tons of options, I got the cheapest ones I could find at walmart. I sometimes just loop it around my chest on the vest, as I don’t like the feel of it on my head.

Reflective Headband - Using reflective yarn*, I knitted a reflective headband, I’m working on a few more and a hat.

Socks

Ankle socks – I bought Feetures* one time when trying on sneakers. I needed a pair and I didn’t check price. That was an awesome opps. These are my favorite ankle socks, the rest I have are Champion* brand, affordable but not as nice.

Compression Socks – Right now I’m rocking some Crazy Compression*  and Pro Compression* depending on who that the patterns I want and the deal, hunt around there are often sales.

Belts, Bags and Water Bottles

Nathan 5k* – This was my first belt, also a gift. It is basically a small fanny pack. It fit my phone, keys and maybe a snack. I would use this to hold my phone if I was using a rowing machine as well.

Nathan Trail Mix Hydration* – I got this when I started expanding my distances and needed to bring water and snacks. The belt can get heavy when it is filled, but the pouch carries a lot of stuff. The water bottles are insulated, which doesn’t really keep the water cold, but does slow down the heating process. I’ve half-filled the bottles with water and frozen them overnight, then finished filling them before a run. That keeps the water cold.

Basic Race Belts* - I picked up a pair of these to wear so I didn't need to pin my bib to my clothing during races. This allows for quick removal of layers if it gets hot and something to attached costume pieces too, such as my Asoka Tano belt flap.

Triwonder Hydration Vest* - This is likely my first of many, but it's super affordable and does the trick. I got the model with two hard sided bottles. When running I wear 1 water bottle on the left and my phone on the right. Plus the pouch in the back is big enough to hold a light jacket, mine or my running partner.

Nathan Handheld Waterbottle* - This is my favorite. It fits in my hydration vest pockets, it's comfy on my hand.
